Golden Grades

Golden Grades is where we breakdown all 180 episodes over the course of the 7 seasons of The Golden Girls.  We do a comprehensive breakdown of each episode, giving it a grade (from 1 to 5 cheesecakes, 5 being the best and 1 being stale). 

 

While we love The Golden Girls, it does have its highs and lows like any other television show.  We re-watch every episode thinking about the quality of the plot, the relevance of the theme (both then and now), the freshness of the jokes and structure, the continuity of characters traits and plot points, the feel and look of the episode, and how much we like it.

Golden Grades uncovers new nuanced moments, plot lines and character moments that enrich the show even more.  Like, community theater being so important in their lives.  Blanche being really bad with visiting relatives. Rose being the most empathetic girl and more!  We also talk about what we love, didn't love, and laughed out loud to.
